1. About these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of North America Territory Wars (NATW) at natw.io and its game services. “NATW,” “we,” and “us” refer to the operator of the service. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required to use this service where you live. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, your parent or guardian must review and agree to these terms with you. Do not create an account if you do not meet these requirements.

Provide an email address you control and accurate account information. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity you authorize on your account. Do not impersonate another person, use another person’s account without permission, or choose a misleading, abusive, or unlawful username.

3. Playing fairly

You may use NATW for personal, lawful entertainment. You must not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other players, or share their private information.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate game requests, use unauthorized automation, or interfere with other players’ games.
• Bypass bans, account controls, security checks, or access restrictions.
• Attempt to access accounts or data without authorization, disrupt the service, or distribute malicious code.
• Submit content that is unlawful or infringes another person’s rights.

Report security issues privately to the operator instead of exploiting them or exposing other users’ information.

4. Game content and player submissions

NATW’s original code, artwork, branding, and other materials belong to their respective owners. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to access and play the game; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its content. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their own licenses.

You retain any rights you have in the usernames, player names, and other content you submit. You give NATW permission to store, display, and process that content as needed to run, secure, and moderate the service. Submit only content you are entitled to use. Player names and gameplay may be visible to other players.

5. Beta service, updates, and advertising

NATW is currently a free beta game. Features, rules, balancing, availability, and saved game state may change. Games may be interrupted or reset, and progress is not guaranteed to be retained. Virtual territory and game outcomes have no cash value.

We may introduce advertising, including Google advertising, in the future. We will update our privacy disclosures and provide any required advertising choices before enabling it. Third-party links or ads are governed by their providers’ terms; NATW does not endorse or control third-party products.

6. Suspension and ending your account

We may restrict or suspend accounts to address violations of these terms, abuse, security threats, or legal requirements. Where appropriate, we will explain the restriction and consider a request for review. Urgent action may be necessary to protect the service or other users.

You may stop using NATW at any time and request account deletion by contacting the operator. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion. Provisions that by their nature need to continue, including ownership and limitations of liability, survive account closure.

7. Availability and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NATW is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free gameplay, or suitability for a particular purpose. We take reasonable care in operating the service but cannot guarantee that every error or interruption will be prevented.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, NATW is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost profits or lost game progress. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, or applicable mandatory consumer protections.

8. Changes and disputes

We may update these terms and will show the updated date on this page. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice through the site or account email and request renewed agreement where required. Changes will not remove rights you already have under mandatory law.

Please contact the operator first to try to resolve a concern. Nothing in these terms limits your right to use a court, regulator, or other remedy available under applicable law. If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
